ABOUT

my story

A smiling woman with blonde wavy hair sitting in a beige armchair in a cozy, well-decorated living room. There are green plants and decorative items on the shelves behind her, and a bouquet of white flowers on a glass table in front of her.

At 13 I was diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis, changing life as I knew it. I went from living a highly academic and sporty lifestyle to being pulled out of school and frequently visiting hospitals. Despite being diagnosed with a rare liver disease, I was determined to rebuild and redefine my health, both physically and mentally.

To me, health represents so much more than our physicality, it’s also about our mentality; how we think and feel about ourselves. By reshaping my thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, I began to experience a profound change in the relationship I had with myself and the disease. When I started defying medical expectations, I realised the incredible power of the mind-body connection, sparking my fascination with neuroscience and positive psychology, leading me to explore the world of Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Taking this darkness and turning it into light, I aspire to help others overcome life’s challenges and achieve mental resilience, just as I once did. This personal experience, coupled with intensive clinical training under Dr. Phil Parker at both Diploma and Advanced Masters levels, has equipped me with the tools and techniques to help you become the most physically and mentally first-rate version of yourself.

Just as you’d lift weights in the gym to build muscle and increase strength, I will support you in building and strengthening your mental muscles, improving mood, focus, and overall wellbeing.

Today, I am a fully qualified Advanced Masters Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Clinical Hypnotherapy, and Coaching, supporting people to navigate the challenges of modern life. Alongside my private practice, I am a volunteer with Pets As Therapy, helping to improve wellbeing through animal-assisted visits with Brian (the spaniel), and a Trustee at Manchester Mind, where I contribute to the strategic leadership of one of Greater Manchester's leading mental health charities.

my mission

what is nlp?

Your brain is naturally neuroplastic - meaning it can change, adapt and strengthen with experience and practice.

The patterns you’ve developed over time, whether that’s stress, worry, anxiety, or frustration, can become familiar and automatic - and with practice, new patterns can be learned too.

Your brain is like a muscle:

  • It adapts

  • Strengthens through repetition

  • Becomes easier to train

Most of us understand the value of training our bodies; your brain responds the same way.

NLP is an approach that can help you become more intentional about the way you think, feel, and therefore behave.

People come for many different reasons, whether that be anxiety, confidence, habits, relationships, life transitions or simply a sense that things could feel easier.

Whatever brings you here, we'll work calmly, practically and at your pace.

No pressure. No judgement. Just grounded support and change that feels natural, comfortable and easy to live with.

“In the gym, the weight doesn't get easier to lift; you get stronger. In life, events don’t become easier to handle; you become better equipped to handle them.”
